About Nottinghamshire Disc Golf Club

Nottinghamshire Disc Golf Club (NDGC), a club dedicated to supporting and growing Disc Golf in Nottinghamshire run by the Executive Members. After more than a decade of throwing discs around Nottinghamshire, we officially became a club in 2019 after playing an instrumental part in the opening of the Sherwood Pines, 9 basket course, the first in the county, led by our former chair, and now honorary lifetime member Zoë Winfield.

We now find ourselves at the fabulous King George V, Mansfield. Nottinghamshire’s first and only 18-basket course. It’s become our home course and the heart of our growing community.

We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch of players of all ages, backgrounds and abilities who love sharing rounds, supporting each other, and growing the sport together.

We play together often, with rounds arranged through our private Messenger group — there’s always someone up for a game! Each year, we’re proud to host our PDGA Annual Club Championship, which is free for members and a fantastic way to gain tournament experience in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Whether you’re here to play for funlearn the gamebuild your skills, or want to battle for number one tag, you’ll fit right in. Every Saturday, we run a members club round, Saturday Early Birdies (typically 09:30 UK), everyone’s welcome to join. You can team up with a group of up to four players or head out solo — either way, you’ll find plenty of friendly faces, encouragement, and good vibes out on the course.
